The Windbubble PRO Extreme lavalier microphone windshields will give you the ultimate wind protection you can get for your omni-directional lavalier, field recording or headset mic. Whatever the make or size of your mic, Bubblebee have a whole range of premium quality furry windshields just waiting to keep away those horrible wind noises and letting the clean and clear frequencies in.
The Extreme version consists of a combination of an inner foam core, surrounded by longer length multi-pile faux fur, to offer you an even greater level of wind protection for your microphone.
The Windbubble PRO lav mic windshield consists of a soft rubber mount. Unlike hard plastic mounts, this special rubber mount absorbs shocks and stops vibrations transferring to your mic’s capsule. The rubber mount holds the furry windshield firmly in place on your mic, making sure it doesn't slip off. In addition to this, the rubber mount has a slight conical shape inside, which ensures you can't push your microphone too far into the windshield. This is very important to ensure that your microphone has a "bubble" of dead-air around the capsule for optimal wind protection and audio clarity. This means that your mic will consistently stay in the best possible position for maximum efficiency.
Every Windbubble PRO is available in Bubblebee's renowned multi-pile faux fur. This unique fur has been specially designed with varying lengths of fur to help gradually slow down the wind particles before reaching the mic. The base of the fur has a higher density of shorter hairs and an acoustically transparent backing material for maximum frequency transparency. So instead of the wind hammering on the microphone and making those horrible, “I’m in the middle of a hurricane” sounds, the capsule is kept in a calm bubble of wind protection and allowed to perform at it's best.
As well as the standard level of wind protection, each mount size is also available as an 'Extreme' version. The Extreme version consists of a combination of an inner foam core, surrounded by longer length multi-pile faux fur, to offer you an even greater level of wind protection for your microphone. These are especially helpful on those super windy exteriors and a perfect solution for factual, ENG and broadcast shoots.

We have an extensive inventory of audio equipment for hire with competitive rates ready at a moment's notice. We pay the most meticulous attention to detail in our hire prep so you can travel to shoots with the peace of mind that you have everything you need.
For weekly rental, you can pick up your gear the day before your production shoot after 3:00pm, and return by 10:00am after your shoot day. In the case of 7 day rental, you will only be charged for 4 billing days.
If shipping is required, we require a two day minimum hire period, with a travel day inbetween.
Orders can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours before pick up date, any notice within 24 hours of the pick up date will be charged a prep fee of 25% of the total amount.
Customers will provide a certificate of insurance listing Everything Audio as "loss payee" and "additional insured".
